Clarks Hill Lake is the largest reservoir in the southeast which boasts 1,200 miles of shoreline with 400 miles of that shoreline located in Lincoln County. Boating, swimming, fishing, skiing and just relaxing on our shores are some of the activities that await you in Lincoln County. There are a number of locally, as well as Corps, operated recreation areas that include boat ramps, playgrounds, picnic shelters, camping, beach areas and other amenities. Amity Recreation Area and Cherokee Recreation Area are two of Lincoln County's most utilized lake areas.
|Elijah Clark State Park & Museum|
Elijah Clark State Park & Museum is one of Georgia's most popular camping and recreation areas. Named for a Revolutionary War General, the park features a replica of his home as a museum. the facilities include 165 campsites, 20 cabins, miniature golf and other recreational amenitites. Located at 2959 McCormick Highway.

|Lincoln County Historical Park|
The Lincoln County Historical Park features the home and affice of an early town doctor. Other attractions included in the park are a restored 1850's cotton gin, a late 1700's log cabin, a log smokehouse, a blacksmith's shop and an old sawmill. During Pioneer Day, the Saturcay before Thanksgiving and FREE to the public, the entire village is in full operation. The Historical Society will open for groups and do catered meals on site for visitors.

Graves Mountain is the world's premier location for large, multiple twinned rutile crystals. "Graves Mountain Rock Swap & Dig" is hosted twice each year. Mineral Societies have recognized the mountain as a scientific and geologic wonder. Some of the minerals that attract collectors to the site are: rutile, quartz, hematite, lazulite, pyrophyllite, barite and paragonite. A fantastic site, offering collecting opportunities suitable for everyone. Located 4 miles West of Lincolnton on Highway 378.

|Lincoln County Courthouse|
The Lincoln County Courthouse on Humphrey Street was built in 1915 in a mixed Greek Revival architectural style. All of the bricks were made on site out of Lincoln County red clay and the wood used in the building was cut from the Lincoln County forest. It is listed on the National Regiester of Historic Places.
|Robert E. Knox Scout Reservation|
Robert E. Knox Scout Reservation is a 500 acre Scouting complex located on Fred R. Prater Parkway at beautiful Lake Thurmond (Clark's Hill Lake). Opened in 2003, it includes Doctor's Hospital Administration Building, Dining Hall, a shooting range, dock and boat ramps, camping areas, sports fields, beaches, pavilions, even an amphitheatre. It is host to a variety of Boy Scout events annually.
