The yard sale/benefit for Ricky Raley will be held on May 5th, 2012 under the pavilion at the Historical Park. 

Please call Vicky Dawkins to donate items...ANY and ALL items are welcome.  We want to raise as much money as possible to help this family with their travel, medical, etc., needs. 

Tee off time is at 9:00 AM.

Please help support the 2012 Atlanta Kidney Walk held May 19, 2012 at Turner Field, Atlanta, GA.   

You can donate by going to donate.kidney.org and click on search for a walker, then search by name of person or name of team.  The name of our team is Colbi's Crew, you may pick any person's name from this team and you will be able to donate at this point by credit card.  You can also donate by check (made payable to The National Kidney Foundation), or see Terri Standard and give her a check to take with her to the kidney walk.  Folks are donating at the NAPA store (Lincolnton, GA) and Standard Auto (Washington, GA). 

Terri's cousin, Colbi Driggers has had kidney problems since she was a baby and had her 1st transplant at 18 months of age.  She is now 20 years old and currently on dialysis awaiting her third kidney transplant. 

There is a Grill Master meeting being held at the Chamber of Commerce building at 7:00 PM.  If you plan to be a Grill Master you will need to be in attendance. 

A meeting has been planned to have riders gather to contribute ideas for improvements at Bussey Point:  Plans are being formulated for a grant application by the CSRA Equestrians in partnership with the Corps for federal money for these improvements.  If you have any interest in seeing improvements in the campgrounds, day parking, and trails and have suggestions of what you feel is needed, please try to join us.  We hope to see you there!  We will have a list of suggested improvements and attendees will have an opportunity to rate those as well as add their own suggestions for consideration.

7:15 PM - Update of initial meeting with Corp of Engineers and last Bussey Point work day progress 

7:30 PM - Open discussion on Bussey Point Improvements 

8:00 PM - Rate improvement suggestions by level of importance 

8:20 PM - Concluding remarks and adjourn meeting
